The “Golden Chrysanthemum” International Award: organization, logistical arrangements, advertising and PR-support
The “Golden Chrysanthemum” Award was established by the Russian Chapter
of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC
Russia) with the support of Media Industry Association Council. The
Award has been presented for the contribution to creating a positive
image of Russia in the field of culture, science, business and
information. The “Golden Chrysanthemum” symbolizes elegance,
sophistication, and sincere intentions. The Award recognizes public
figures and statesmen, culture and art figures, businessmen,
top-managers of companies and organizations, mass media
representatives, who, thanks to their stainless reputation, charm and
individuality, have greatly contributed to creating a positive image of
Russia both at home and abroad. The winners are chosen by the
Supervisory Board composed of well-known Russian and foreign public
figures, scientists, journalists, and businessmen.
In 2003, the National Hotel hosted the first “Golden Chrysanthemum”
Awards Ceremony. The prize-winners included famous musicians Galina
Vishnevskaya and Mstislav Rostropovich; Andrei Voznesensky, a poet;
Vladimir Gusev, Director of the Russian Museum; TV presenters - Sergei
Kapitsa, Vladimir Pozner and Yury Senkevich (posthumously); Shamil
Tarpishchev, President of the Russian Tennis Federation; Mikhail
Shvydkoi, Minister of Culture of the RF; Leonid Roshal, a pediatrician;
Igor Yurgens, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and
Entrepreneurs.
Business League Communication Group provided a whole package of
services related to the organization, logistical arrangements,
advertising and media coverage of the “Golden Chrysanthemum” Awards
Ceremony.
